They want to demolish our school

The council announced they're tearing down our school to build luxury apartments. I went to that school. My parents went to that school. Every kid in this neighborhood has walked through those doors. We're organizing a protest for Saturday. I'm angry — not the hot, burning kind, but the cold kind that makes you want to do something. They keep taking things from communities like ours and calling it progress. Progress for who?
